Final Sem 2 Exam Revisions

Exam date: June 5 2026

 

The exam will last for about 2 hours and will be composed of the following activities and exercises:

  • Grammar & Vocabulary checkpoints
  • Listening comprehension
  • Email Writing (methodology, vocabulary, formal vs. informal language)
  • New vocabulary: phrasal verbs, Ashden Awards, Stand Up for Science, etc. (+ all the vocabulary seen so far: introductions, university, architecture, etc.)

Grammar ➡️Grammar Book

(a) Checkpoint for those who got F/FX/E/D in previous tests (Grammar or Writing):
  • Asking questions (📖Test 8 + previous units if needed)
  • Tenses : present simple, past simple, present perfect (present perfect BE+ing) (📖Tests 3 & 5 + previous units if needed)
  • Reported speech (📖Test 23 + previous units if needed)
(b) All students
  • Comparatives & superlatives (📖Test 19 + previous units if needed)
  • SO /Neither do I (📖Unit 43)
  • Words and conjunctions used for comparison (both, neither... nor, contrary to, unlike, whereas, while, etc.)
  • Prepositions of place (📖Unit 118)

  • Giving directions / Campus description
